Dr. Carolyn Burcham is my wife who I have been married to since I was 18 years old, 53 years come May 4th. I graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO with a degree in Theology while Carolyn graduated from Texas Tech, University of Northern AZ, and University of Alabama. I am a native of a farm in Western Kentucky while Carolyn is a Memphis Belle. I will do my best as your President over the next year.

Hi there! I have lived in Oak Glen since February 2019 with my 2 sons. I am a Florida native and have lived in Pasco County since I was 4 years old. I graduated from the University of South Florida in 1995 with a BS in Special Education, worked as a Special Education Teacher and then an Early Childhood Preschool Owner in the New Port Richey area. Currently I am a brand promoter for Le-Vel as well as a Consultant for Infant and Toddler Families. I have served as Treasurer and Board Member since 2020 and have enjoyed meeting everyone. I hope to continue to serve our community for many more years.

Mark Puhalla
Hi, everyone my name is Mark J. Puhalla. My wife Darlene, and I have lived in Oak Glen since 2017. We have two daughters who live in the Tampa Bay area. I’m a retired VA Construction and Lease Planner. I graduated from Central Missouri State University with a Design Drafting AS, Drafting Technology BS, and Industrial Management MS. I am an Air Force Veteran and served as a Medic for almost six years. Currently, I like building things out-of-wood, yard work, biking, traveling and, best of all, playing with my two grandchildren. My wife is a 26-year Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and we have been married over 39 years. I feel that it is everyone’s responsibility and duty to contribute and support their community and especially our neighborhood.

Hello, my name is Dwayne Phillips. My family and I have lived in Oak Glen since mid 2014. I am originally from South Georgia but grew up in Tampa. I have been a resident of Pasco County for over 30 years. I have over 37 years in the Public Utilities business all with Hillsborough County. As an Oak Glen HOA Board Member I will do my best to serve the residents of this community with the utmost integrity.

Hello Neighbors! Here is an update for all things Oak Glen.
The Pond A Restoration Project is in its final stages toward completion. If you missed the previous meetings or emails, we were able to use the money we had saved in our Reserves Account to cover 89% of the cost of Pond A restoration, so we did not need to request a special assessment fee to cover the expenses at this time. Preparation for future Pond Restoration Projects will be discussed at the Pond Committee / Community Gathering Meeting on Saturday, March 25th at 11am. The Board will hold quarterly community meetings. These are an open discussion, question/answer format so that everyone has time to learn, share and talk. These are not Board Meetings and there will be no formality of Robert’s Rule of Order or any voting taking place. The Board feels that by opening up time for community gatherings, the process of the Annual Meeting and official Board Meetings will be efficient and keep things on track following the Robert’s Rule of Order format. Watch the website calendar and your email for the community meeting dates.
The City of San Antonio City Commissioners hold their monthly meeting at City Hall at 7:30pm on the 3rd Tuesday of every month. The water bill rate increase is still in discussion and representation from Oak Glen is always appreciated. The next meeting is on 2/21/2023. The location of this meeting will be at the Church on Michigan Ave. Visit their website to get the Zoom link to watch from home.
